Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Prepare financial reports and statements under supervision
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis
- Handle client inquiries regarding financial matters with professionalism
- Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Degree preferred)
- 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and GST regulations
