Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team in Jurong East, Singapore. As an integral member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, optimizing payroll processes, and providing actionable insights for regional planning. Responsibilities
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes for the Singapore entity.
- Assist in the preparation of FP&A reports, including variance analysis and budget forecasting.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and internal policies.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting and administrative workflows.
- Maintain documentation for financial audits and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
- Support ad-hoc finance projects as requested by the regional Finance Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA/CPA qualification is highly desirable.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in accounting or financial operations, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local taxation laws.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with regional stakeholders.
- Ability to commit to a 12-month contract period and hit the ground running.
