Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative operations, including office management, facilities, and clerical support.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for senior management review.
- Lead the purchasing function, negotiating with vendors, managing purchase orders, and monitoring inventory levels.
- Coordinate sales operations support, including order processing, customer inquiries, and sales reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations, statutory reporting, and internal financial controls.
- Supervise and mentor a team of admin and finance staff, fostering professional growth and performance excellence.
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel analytics to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, GST/SST, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced MS Excel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or MICPA is a plus.
