In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the logistics and procurement teams by ensuring smooth administrative operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate shipments, manage purchase orders, and maintain accurate documentation. The position offers a structured 5-day work week with competitive remuneration and career growth potential.
Our client operates in strategic locations across Singapore, including Pioneer and Taiseng/Ubi areas, providing convenient accessibility for commuters from various parts of the island. This is a full-time permanent position with performance-based incentives.
Key aspects of the role include maintaining proper filing systems, processing documentation efficiently, liaising with vendors and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics activities including shipment tracking, delivery scheduling, and inventory management
- Process purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate administrative records, documentation, and filing systems
- Support the logistics team in resolving operational issues and ensuring smooth workflow
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors regarding orders and deliveries
- Assist in preparing reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as required
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'N' or 'O' Level equivalent with relevant administrative experience
- Prior experience in logistics coordination, purchasing, or administrative support roles is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work at different locations including West (Pioneer) or Central East (Taiseng/Ubi) areas
