Heng Sheng Construction & Engineering is seeking a dedicated Assistant Public Relation Officer (PRO) to join our dynamic team in the East Region. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between our construction teams and the local community, ensuring smooth project operations and fostering positive relationships.
We are specifically looking for candidates who possess hands-on experience with HIP (Home Improvement Programme) or ELUP (Estate Upgrading Programme) projects. You will play a crucial role in managing feedback, resolving resident inquiries, and ensuring that our site activities are conducted with minimal disruption to the public. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, stakeholders, and internal project teams regarding site activities.
- Manage and resolve resident feedback, complaints, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate site access and communicate construction schedules, particularly for HIP and ELUP projects.
- Conduct regular site visits and house-to-house surveys to ensure resident satisfaction and project compliance.
- Prepare and distribute notices, circulars, and announcements to affected residents and business owners.
- Organize and facilitate community engagement sessions or town hall meetings as required.
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation of all resident interactions and resolution status for management reporting.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a Public Relations or Customer Service role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with HIP (Home Improvement Programme) or ELUP (Estate Upgrading Programme) is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations with patience and empathy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and a second language to effectively communicate with diverse resident demographics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced field environment.
- Possess a proactive attitude and a high level of integrity.
