Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of statutory audits for clients across various industries.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with MFRS, MPERS, and the Companies Act 2016.
- Support the tax team in preparing corporate and individual tax computations and tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial analysis reports.
- Handle correspondence with the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) and other regulatory bodies.
- Maintain and update audit working papers and documentation.
- Participate in stock takes and other audit fieldwork as required.
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned by senior team members.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
- Strong academic background with a keen interest in pursuing a career in audit, tax, and accounts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Internship duration of 3 to 6 months is preferred.
- Previous internship experience in a related field is an added advantage.
