Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret project requirements and specifications accurately.
- Revise and update existing drawings based on field changes or feedback from senior design leads.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Maintain an organized digital filing system for all project documents and blueprints.
- Participate in project meetings to provide technical insights and progress reports.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to junior team members when required.
- Optimize drawing workflows to improve project turnaround time and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a Draftsman or CAD Technician, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD software; familiarity with 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and architectural sketches.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
- Valid certification in AutoCAD or relevant drafting credentials is highly preferred.
