Responsibilities
- Act as the central coordination hub between Content, Talent Hub, and regional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of business strategies and operations.
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of key business initiatives, ensuring alignment with MediaCorp's overarching corporate objectives and market demands.
- Manage and optimize talent resource allocation across projects, working closely with the Talent Hub to match strategic skillsets to business needs.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key regional partners and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of escalation for regional business matters.
- Oversee the operational and financial performance of assigned business units, preparing in-depth reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior leadership review.
- Drive process improvements and standardization efforts across the content supply chain to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams within the region to support MediaCorp's growth and market expansion.
- Provide strategic guidance and analytical support to content and talent leadership, translating data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in business management, operations, strategy, or a client-facing role within the media, entertainment, or digital content industry.
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives from conception through to successful execution.
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus among C-level executives and external partners.
- Deep understanding of the regional media landscape, content distribution channels, and talent management dynamics.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, comfortable working with data to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira), CRM systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
