You will be responsible for defining the product assortment, managing vendor relationships, and analyzing market trends to ensure our collections remain competitive and aspirational. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive buying strategies for watches and jewelry brands to drive revenue growth.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Manage end-to-end relationships with luxury suppliers and brand representatives, negotiating favorable terms and exclusivity.
- Oversee stock inventory levels, ensuring optimal product mix and minimizing markdowns through data-driven planning.
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure products are showcased effectively within retail environments.
- Monitor sales performance metrics (KPIs) and adjust procurement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain departments to ensure timely delivery and customs compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail buying, specifically within the luxury, watches, or jewelry sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and retail management software.
- Proven ability to negotiate with high-level suppliers and manage vendor contracts.
- Deep understanding of the luxury consumer market and international brand standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Indonesian.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
