Responsibilities

  • Oversee the church's calendar, scheduling meetings, events, and facility usage for various ministries and groups.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential church records, including membership databases, attendance, and donations.
  • Assist with basic financial administration, such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and preparing reports for the leadership team.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with church members, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
  • Support the planning and execution of church events, services, and outreach programs.
  • Prepare bulletins, newsletters, presentations, and other communication materials for the congregation.
  • Act as a welcoming first point of contact for visitors and inquiries, embodying the church's hospitable spirit.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in an administrative or office management role, preferably within a church, non-profit, or community organization.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other local dialects is a plus.
