Responsibilities
- Drafting and preparing statutory documents including directors' and members' resolutions.
- Facilitating the timely lodgement of documents with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
- Maintaining and updating statutory registers and corporate records for various clients.
- Assisting in the coordination and preparation of board meetings and general meetings.
- Ensuring all corporate filings comply with current statutory requirements and internal standards.
- Managing corporate correspondence and liaising with relevant regulatory authorities.
- Supporting senior secretarial staff in complex corporate exercises and restructuring projects.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in corporate secretarial work is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Companies Act 2016 and SSM filing procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Possessing or pursuing a professional secretarial qualification (e.g., MAICSA) is an added advantage.
