Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of client companies, ensuring strict adherence to the Companies Act 2016 and SSM's guidelines.
- Prepare and file statutory forms, annual returns, resolutions, and minutes of meetings promptly and accurately.
- Maintain and update statutory registers, company records, and other secretarial documents.
- Liaise directly with clients, directors, shareholders, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth corporate secretarial operations.
- Provide expert advice on corporate governance, compliance matters, and best practices.
- Coordinate and execute incorporation of new companies, striking-off, and share restructuring exercises.
- Handle share transfers, allotments, and related administrative tasks.
- Ensure timely submission of all statutory filing requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must be a registered member of MAICSA or possess a recognized professional qualification in Corporate Secretarial (e.g., ICSA, SSLC).
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a corporate secretarial firm or department.
- In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act 2016, SSM online systems (MBiz, CSEasy), and corporate secretarial practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and strong client service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
