Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of client companies, ensuring strict adherence to the Companies Act 2016 and SSM's guidelines.
  • Prepare and file statutory forms, annual returns, resolutions, and minutes of meetings promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain and update statutory registers, company records, and other secretarial documents.
  • Liaise directly with clients, directors, shareholders, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth corporate secretarial operations.
  • Provide expert advice on corporate governance, compliance matters, and best practices.
  • Coordinate and execute incorporation of new companies, striking-off, and share restructuring exercises.
  • Handle share transfers, allotments, and related administrative tasks.
  • Ensure timely submission of all statutory filing requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Must be a registered member of MAICSA or possess a recognized professional qualification in Corporate Secretarial (e.g., ICSA, SSLC).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a corporate secretarial firm or department.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act 2016, SSM online systems (MBiz, CSEasy), and corporate secretarial practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and strong client service orientation.
