You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our cost accounting system, conducting regular inventory audits, and supporting the finance department in monthly closing activities. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate product cost standards in the ERP system.
- Perform daily recording and monitoring of raw material usage and production costs.
- Analyze manufacturing cost variances and provide monthly reports to management.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and perform periodic inventory reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure strict adherence to company financial policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or local equivalents).
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Residing in or willing to relocate to Surabaya.
