Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and growth targets.
- Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement and inventory management to logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
- Optimize operational costs, improve efficiency, and enhance supply chain resilience through continuous process improvement and innovation.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure optimal service levels and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize advanced analytics and technology to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and ethical sourcing practices across the supply chain.
- Drive initiatives to integrate sustainable practices into supply chain operations, reducing environmental impact and promoting responsible sourcing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in supply chain planning, procurement, inventory control, logistics, and distribution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., ERP, WMS, advanced planning systems).
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Solid understanding of global trade regulations, customs, and international shipping processes.
- Certification such as CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent is a significant plus.
