Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Executive to join our team on a temporary full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for our Malaysia employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and timeliness. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional to contribute to the efficiency of our HR operations within a dynamic environment.

Your key responsibilities will include payroll data preparation, validation, and submission, as well as liaising with internal stakeholders and government agencies. You will also assist in preparing payroll reports, maintaining employee records, and supporting year-end tax filing and audits. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong knowledge of Malaysian payroll statutory requirements, and can handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Malaysia employees
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation, validation, and submission of payroll data
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate with external vendors, tax authorities, and statutory boards
  • Maintain employee payroll records, databases, and filing systems
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reports
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation
  • Support other HR operational tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in payroll processing, specifically for Malaysia
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian employment and payroll legislations (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.)
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Info-Tech, PayrollPro, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Available on short notice or immediately
