Our ideal candidate is someone who can bridge the gap between financial management and office support, ensuring that both the numbers and the people in the office run smoothly. You will be exposed to a variety of tasks that will enhance your skillset in both the financial and administrative sectors.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the accounting office, ensuring all financial processes are accurate and timely.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and processing payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and reconciliation statements.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic financial documents and correspondence.
- Handle general administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and coordinating office activities.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor daily expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
- Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a finance or administrative role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial terminology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
