Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment to and from trucks, storage areas, or work sites.
- Assist tradespeople with basic tasks such as site cleanup, material preparation, and tool organization.
- Assist with inventory control and routine maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety rules.
- Follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates.
- Help with site setup and breakdown, including setting up barriers and safety signs.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment as directed, with proper training.
- Report hazards or damaged equipment to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Basic math and measurement abilities
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Previous laborer or construction support experience is a plus
