Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management systems and procedures.
- Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments across all operational areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Organize and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs and awareness campaigns for employees at all levels.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant Indonesian HSE regulations, permits, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with department heads to integrate HSE considerations into daily operations and project planning.
- Prepare and submit detailed HSE reports, performance metrics, and compliance documentation to management and regulatory bodies.
- Champion a proactive safety culture, encouraging employee participation and engagement in HSE initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Possession of valid professional certifications such as AK3 Umum (Kemenakertrans RI) is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian HSE regulations (e.g., UU No. 13 Tahun 2003, Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup).
- Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership potential and a positive, creative approach to challenges.
