Sioen is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HSE Officer to join our team in Semarang. Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system in accordance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify risks and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Deliver comprehensive HSE induction and ongoing safety training programs for all employees and contractors.
- Manage emergency preparedness plans, including fire drills and first aid coordination.
- Monitor and report on safety KPIs, providing actionable insights to plant management to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper maintenance and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (K3), Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an HSE Officer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Possession of a valid K3 Umum (General OHS) certification from the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of Indonesian safety regulations, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence staff at all levels.
- Proven ability to remain calm and decisive during emergency situations.
- Proficient in MS Office and digital reporting tools.
