Responsibilities
- Assist in creating compelling content for various corporate communications channels including press releases, newsletters, social media, and the company website
- Support the development and execution of internal and external communications campaigns
- Monitor media coverage and compile regular reports on relevant industry news and trends
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information and ensure consistent messaging
- Assist in organizing and executing corporate events, press conferences, and media briefings
- Help maintain and update the company's media database and contact lists
- Support the communications team in crisis management and reputation monitoring
- Contribute to the company's social media strategy by creating engaging content and monitoring performance metrics
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Strong research and analytical abilities with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content creation tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous internship or relevant experience in communications, marketing, or public relations is a plus
