Responsibilities
- Plan and execute comprehensive internal audit programs, focusing on financial and operational risks.
- Supervise audit fieldwork, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, document, and report internal control deficiencies and provide value-added recommendations for remediation.
- Conduct follow-up audits to ensure that management has taken appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve process efficiencies and reduce financial risk.
- Prepare high-quality audit reports for senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Stay current on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes that impact business operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial, operational, or compliance auditing (Big 4 background is a plus).
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting standards (PSAK/IFRS) and internal control frameworks (COSO).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously.
- Certification in internal auditing (e.g., CIA, CISA) or accounting (e.g., CPA) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using audit software and data analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, or ERP systems).
