HomeKita invites motivated students to join our dynamic team as an Intern in Business Administration/Development. This role offers a unique blend of operational exposure and real‑world negotiation experience, allowing you to apply classroom knowledge to practical business challenges. You will work closely with senior staff, support day‑to‑day office functions, and contribute to projects that drive efficiency and growth. The internship is based in our Kuchai Lama office, Kuala Lumpur, and provides a stipend of RM1,000–RM1,200 per month. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, possess strong communication skills, and are ready to take initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
Throughout the internship, you will gain hands‑on experience in areas such as document preparation, data entry, scheduling, customer liaison, and basic financial administration. You will also participate in negotiation simulations, market research, and process improvement initiatives. This program is designed to build a solid foundation for a future career in business administration, operations, or entrepreneurship.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily office operations including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Support scheduling and coordination of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and business correspondence under supervision.
- Participate in negotiation role‑plays and assist in gathering market intelligence.
- Contribute to process improvement projects by observing workflows and suggesting enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of office administration procedures and record‑keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills.
