During this internship, you will be immersed in real-world automotive engineering tasks, from routine maintenance to complex troubleshooting. You will develop technical skills, understand customer service excellence, and contribute to the seamless operation of our service center. Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in performing vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Support the use of advanced diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in the inspection and testing of vehicle systems including engine, transmission, braking, and electrical components.
- Document service records, repair orders, and technical reports accurately using company systems.
- Learn and adhere to strict safety protocols and quality standards in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Engage in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and product expertise.
- Provide support in maintaining workshop cleanliness, organization, and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in automotive technology and a passion for luxury vehicles.
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems and mechanical principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to fast-paced workshop settings.
- Previous internship or practical experience in an automotive workshop is an added advantage.
