Keysight Technologies, a premier global electronic measurement company, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst Intern to join our dynamic supply chain team in Penang. As an intern, you will be actively involved in the evaluation and implementation of IT solutions that enhance inventory tracking, replenishment, and reporting systems. You will work closely with experienced professionals to analyze inventory data, identify trends, and support decision-making processes. This role offers exposure to advanced ERP systems and tools used in the industry.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting in system enhancements, generating inventory reports, conducting data analysis to improve accuracy, and participating in continuous improvement projects. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory data integrity and contribute to the optimization of inventory levels.
We are looking for a motivated student currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a keen interest in supply chain operations are essential. Prior experience with ERP systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of IT solutions for inventory tracking and replenishment
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and anomalies, and recommend corrective actions
- Support the creation of detailed inventory reports and dashboards for management
- Collaborate with inventory control and supply chain teams to ensure data accuracy
- Assist in testing and documentation of system enhancements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management processes
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Prior internship experience in a similar role is a plus
