Responsibilities

  • Prepare and reconcile monthly client accounting reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure proper coding of transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax calculations, VAT returns, and compliance documentation.
  • Support senior accountants during external audits by providing required schedules and supporting documents.
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and proposing automation solutions.
  • Monitor client accounts payable and receivable, performing timely follow‑ups as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to Indonesian Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company policies.
  • Assist with ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1‑2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a service‑oriented firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, MySAP, or similar ERP systems) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Indonesian tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA or CMA) is advantageous but not mandatory.
