Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, breakdowns, and issues using appropriate testing devices and schematics.
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, switches, motors, and other equipment efficiently.
- Install new electrical systems, wiring, conduits, and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety codes.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide installation and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with established safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed.
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns to minimize operational disruption.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Vocational High School (SMK) Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 2-3 years as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, motor controls, and PLC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency in using various electrical testing equipment (multimeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of electrical safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
