Responsibilities
- Act as a primary communication liaison with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and business partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with international vendors to secure favorable deals and maintain strong relationships.
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers and partners to expand the company's network.
- Process purchase orders, track shipments, and manage inventory levels to support production and business needs.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and product availability within Mandarin-speaking markets.
- Prepare reports and presentations on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and business insights for management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, production, and sales teams to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a purchasing, procurement, or business coordination role, preferably in an international setting.
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) to professional working proficiency is mandatory.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written) for internal and other international communications.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a track record of building effective professional relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP/purchasing software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
