Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MARCOM Manager to lead our marketing and communications efforts from our headquarters in Kota Kinabalu. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our brand strategy, digital marketing, public relations, and stakeholder communications. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape the narrative of the JSK Group and ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all channels. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Manage all digital marketing channels including website, social media, email campaigns, and online advertising to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content for brochures, press releases, newsletters, and promotional materials across all JSK Group brands.
- Lead public relations initiatives, including media relations, press conferences, and influencer partnerships to enhance brand reputation.
- Coordinate marketing efforts for JSK Mantanani Resorts, Mantanani residences, and River Cruise to ensure cohesive messaging and maximise occupancy/revenue.
- Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and campaign performance data to refine strategies and report on ROI to senior management.
- Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to achieve maximum impact.
- Supervise and mentor a team of marketing and communications professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the hospitality, tourism, or property sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Strong digital marketing skills including SEO/SEM, social media management, content marketing, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a customer-centric mindset.
- Familiarity with the Sabah tourism landscape and local market dynamics is highly desirable.
