In this contract role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and promoting marketing campaigns and events targeting Chinese-speaking audiences. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create engaging content, manage event logistics, and analyse performance metrics to drive brand awareness and customer engagement. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns tailored to Chinese‑speaking markets.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events, promotions, and activations from concept to post‑event evaluation.
- Create compelling bilingual (Chinese/English) marketing collateral, including social media posts, emailers, flyers, and press releases.
- Liaise with vendors, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event logistics and timely delivery.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and prepare reports to optimise future marketing efforts.
- Manage social media channels, engage with online communities, and grow the brand’s Chinese‑language following.
- Support market research initiatives to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and adhere to company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, event management, or a similar role.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken).
- Proven track record of successful event planning and execution.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media management tools.
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time‑management abilities.
- Creative mindset with a data‑driven approach to decision making.
