Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end motorcycle engine R&D projects from ideation to production validation
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians in prototyping, testing, and optimization
- Develop technical roadmaps for engine performance, efficiency, and emission standards
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless technology transfer
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage
- Oversee R&D budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of R&D experience with 3+ years in managerial roles
- Proven expertise in motorcycle engine design, testing, and validation
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA/SolidWorks) and simulation tools
- Knowledge of industry standards (ISO, EPA, Euro emissions)
- Experience with budget management and project lifecycle methodologies
