Responsibilities
- Oversee all logistics and operational processes, including shipment handling, warehousing, inventory management, and final mile delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, import/export laws, and industry standards to guarantee timely and lawful clearances.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team to achieve productivity and service quality targets.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients and regulatory bodies, managing escalations and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven decision making.
- Coordinate with internal departments (sales, finance, customer service) to ensure seamless end-to-end operations.
- Maintain health, safety, and security standards across all operational facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in operations management, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine customs procedures, import/export regulations, and international shipping documentation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and implementing process improvements.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while paying strong attention to detail.
