Your Role: As a Parts Assistant, you are the critical link between our service offerings and our customers. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless and efficient flow of parts throughout our operations. This involves meticulous inventory management, from receiving new shipments to picking and packing orders for our busy workshop and retail customers.
What You Will Do: You will play a hands-on role in maintaining a state-of-the-art parts facility. Your day-to-day activities will include performing rigorous checks on incoming stock, updating the inventory database with precision, and ensuring the physical stockroom is organized according to best practices. You will become a product expert on Leapmotor parts, assisting both walk-in customers and phone inquiries with technical queries and purchase recommendations. By working closely with the service team, you will help minimize vehicle turnaround times by ensuring parts availability for scheduled repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming stock against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain an organized and clean parts storage area, ensuring correct bin locations and stock rotation.
- Efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch parts for workshop jobs, retail customers, and wholesale orders.
- Provide prompt and professional service at the parts counter, assisting customers with parts identification, pricing, and availability.
- Process sales orders, purchase orders, and inter-branch transfers using the company's Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Assist in conducting monthly stock takes and cycle counts to maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with the service advisors and technicians to ensure seamless parts supply for vehicle repairs.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and security protocols within the parts department.
Qualifications
- Possess at least SPM / O-Level or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in an automotive parts, spare parts, or warehouse environment.
- Fundamental knowledge of automotive parts is an advantage; training on Leapmotor parts will be provided.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office) and experience with ERP / DMS software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Possession of a valid GDL / driving license is an added advantage.
