Job Description

Cycle & Carriage, an authorized Mercedes‑Benz dealer in Malaysia, is looking for a dedicated Parts Assistant to join our dynamic team in Batu Caves, Selangor. In this role you will be the backbone of our parts department, ensuring that the correct components are available for our service technicians and customers at all times.

You will be responsible for receiving, cataloguing, and dispatching automotive parts and accessories, maintaining precise inventory records, and liaising with the workshop to meet tight service schedules. By monitoring stock levels and collaborating with suppliers, you will help minimize downtime and keep our workshop running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory of automotive parts and accessories for Mercedes‑Benz vehicles.
  • Process parts orders, receipts, and returns in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with service technicians and workshop staff to ensure timely parts availability.
  • Maintain accurate records and update the parts management system.
  • Assist customers in identifying correct parts and provide product information.
  • Ensure the parts area is organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and alert supervisors of low or obsolete items.
  • Support the team in achieving departmental KPIs related to parts supply and service efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM/Diploma in automotive engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in automotive parts or inventory management is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Mercedes‑Benz parts catalogs and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
