Job Description

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include preparing purchase orders, managing supplier communications, monitoring delivery schedules, and assisting with the reconciliation of invoices. Responsibilities

  • Process and track purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with procurement policies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, internal departments, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, filing systems, and databases to support audit and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment and vendor performance evaluation.
  • Conduct market research to identify competitive pricing and new supplier opportunities.
  • Process invoices, liaise with the finance team, and ensure accurate payment reconciliations.
  • Support the procurement manager in tendering, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of procurement software and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Administration, or a related field.
  • 1‑2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support roles.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, documentation, and basic accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel for data entry and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP or procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
