Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract finalization for materials, equipment, and services required for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, evaluating their performance and ensuring adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, assess market trends, and implement strategies for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and other procurement-related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant local and international regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other internal departments to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and and services.
  • Resolve supplier issues, discrepancies, and quality problems efficiently to minimize project disruptions.
  • Maintain comprehensive procurement records and assist in generating reports on procurement performance, savings, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of proven experience in procurement, ideally within the construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and favorable terms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding project environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
