Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems and applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical incidents escalating to appropriate teams when needed.
- Perform routine health checks, backups, and maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures in the knowledge base for future reference.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to implement improvements and preventive measures.
- Assist in change management activities, including testing and deployment of updates.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders and maintain clear communication during service disruptions.
- Participate in on-call rotation and support global markets across different time zones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in production support, IT operations, or a similar technical role.
- Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and basic networking concepts.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts or weekends, to support global operations.
