Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support including document management, filing, and correspondence handling
- Review immigration applications and supporting documentation for completeness and compliance with IRCC requirements
- Maintain accurate records and databases while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Communicate with applicants and stakeholders regarding application status and requirements
- Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and logistics for the immigration program team
- Assist in the preparation of reports, briefings, and statistical documentation
- Support the implementation of immigration policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of one to two years of experience in administrative support or office management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Experience working in a government or diplomatic setting is advantageous
- Relevant post-secondary education in administration or a related field
