Zhao Yang Geotechnic is seeking a detail‑oriented Project Administrator to support our growing geotechnical engineering team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role you will be the organisational backbone, coordinating project documentation, schedules, and communications to ensure smooth delivery of geotech investigations and reporting. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and site visits for geotechnical investigations.
  • Prepare, organise, and maintain project documentation including reports, drawings, and correspondence.
  • Assist in the compilation of tender documents, proposals, and cost estimates.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely information flow.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and budget expenditures using project management tools.
  • Support health, safety, and quality compliance by maintaining relevant registers and checklists.
  • Generate regular progress reports and presentation materials for senior management.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as invoicing, purchase orders, and expense tracking.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or geotechnical sectors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management software.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of basic geotechnical terminology and processes is advantageous.
