Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on-site rigging, lifting, and machinery installation operations to ensure project milestones are met.
- Lead and mentor a crew of technicians and riggers, providing clear instructions and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Coordinate with factory management and engineering teams to schedule tool move-ins and minimize production disruptions.
- Enforce strict adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and JKKP/OSHA regulations on-site.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and tool-box meetings to identify and mitigate potential risks during lifting operations.
- Oversee the transport of sensitive electronics equipment using specialized dollies, cranes, and rigging gear.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, incident logs, and equipment checklists.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in rigging, heavy lifting, or industrial machinery installation.
- Valid certification as a Lifting Supervisor or Rigging/Slinging professional is highly preferred.
- Proven experience working within semiconductor or electronics manufacturing facilities (cleanroom experience is an advantage).
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to interact with clients and contractors.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, site layouts, and rigging plans.
