Responsibilities
- Assist the purchasing team in day-to-day procurement activities and documentation.
- Support the coordination with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Prepare and process purchase orders (PO) and ensure accuracy in data entry within the ERP system.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in reconciling purchase invoices and delivery orders.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and compare price quotations.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for procurement records.
- Support the team in ad-hoc administrative tasks as required for operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of integrity.
- Fluent in English and Malay; proficiency in Mandarin is considered a strong advantage.
- Must be able to commit to an immediate or urgent intake start date.
