You will interact with diverse suppliers, coordinate with various hotel departments, and utilize advanced inventory management systems to maintain operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders for accuracy, quantity, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with procurement and culinary teams to ensure timely delivery of perishable and non-perishable inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure receiving area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage the documentation process, including Goods Received Notes (GRN) and vendor delivery dockets, with absolute precision.
- Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments professionally and promptly.
- Perform daily stock counts and ensure accurate data entry into the property management/inventory system.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to streamline the flow of materials to respective hotel outlets.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a receiving or inventory management role, preferably within the hospitality or luxury retail industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality defects or documentation errors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with suppliers.
- Physical capability to handle goods and equipment as required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays, to support 24/7 hotel operations.
