As a Research Officer, you will act as a key liaison within the Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS) ecosystem, ensuring that complex research projects remain on track, well-documented, and aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities
- Coordinate research project workflows and administrative processes for the A*STAR-PRECISE team.
- Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders, academic partners, and external research collaborators.
- Manage project documentation, ensuring strict adherence to compliance and data governance standards.
- Support the planning of research agendas, workshops, and strategic meetings.
- Monitor project milestones and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Maintain database accuracy for research planning metrics and GIS-related administrative datasets.
- Assist in the preparation of grant reports and high-level presentations for institutional leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in research administration, project management, or a scientific office support role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced scientific environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management software tools.
- High attention to detail, particularly with documentation and administrative workflows.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
