Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Engineers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and support to ensure individual and team sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to identify, qualify, and secure new opportunities within the automotive manufacturing sector across Indonesia.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at existing and prospective automotive clients.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and provide expert technical consultation to propose tailored automation solutions that address complex client challenges.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, technical proposals, and quotations, effectively articulating the value proposition of our client's automation products and services.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the automotive automation space to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering, product development, and service teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies and objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation) or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in industrial automation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Demonstrated expertise and a strong network within the automotive manufacturing industry in Indonesia.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in a technical sales environment.
- In-depth knowledge of various automation technologies, including robotics, PLCs, SCADA, industrial sensors, vision systems, and IoT solutions.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (preferred).
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in motivating and developing sales teams.
- Ability to travel frequently within Indonesia to meet with clients and attend industry events.
