Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance the organic search performance of HSBC’s public and staff-facing websites.
  • Conduct deep-dive keyword research and competitive analysis to inform content creation and site architecture updates.
  • Collaborate with digital producers and developers to implement technical SEO best practices during website revamps and creation projects.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on organic search performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and enterprise-level SEO software.
  • Perform regular technical audits to identify and resolve crawlability, indexability, and site speed issues.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all web content adheres to global SEO standards, accessibility guidelines, and brand compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SEO, specifically within large-scale enterprise or digital agency environments.
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO elements including schema markup, XML sitemaps, canonicalization, and site architecture.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console).
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) and understanding of HTML/CSS basics.
