Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in company-level committees for ad-hoc projects aimed at improving and expanding the company's marine operations and business.
- Manage and implement proper administrative procedures and workflows to optimize operational efficiency.
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring timely communication and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Monitor and report on key operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions.
- Support senior management with data analysis, presentation preparation, and special project management.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements within the marine division.
- Facilitate internal and external stakeholder meetings, including agenda setting, minute taking, and follow-up actions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marine Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant administrative or operations experience, preferably in the marine or insurance industry.
- Proven ability to lead committees and manage cross-functional projects.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with operational databases.
- Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
