Responsibilities
- Participate in company-level committees for ad-hoc projects aimed at improving and expanding the Company's operations and business.
- Manage and implement proper administrative procedures for Marine operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., underwriting, claims, finance) to streamline operational workflows and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and documentation for management review.
- Support the planning and execution of operational initiatives, including process improvements, system upgrades, and workflow automation.
- Liaise with external partners, vendors, and marine industry stakeholders to facilitate business transactions and service delivery.
- Monitor operational performance metrics and provide recommendations for efficiency gains.
- Assist in training and onboarding new administrative staff, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marine Studies, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of administrative or operations experience, preferably in the marine, insurance, or logistics sectors.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP or insurance systems.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of marine insurance products, shipping documentation, or regulatory requirements is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
