Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive public relations and communication strategies for diverse clients.
- Provide expert counsel and strategic advice to senior leadership on reputation management, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage and execute media relations, including proactive outreach, press release drafting, and interview preparation.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to protect client reputation during sensitive situations.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to inform communication strategies and measure effectiveness.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the development of compelling content across various platforms, including digital and traditional media.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth and development of the practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in public relations, corporate communications, or strategic advisory roles, preferably within an agency or consultancy environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis communication, issues management, and reputation safeguarding.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape in Singapore and regionally, with an established network of media contacts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to communications.
- Experience in client relationship management and business development.
