Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Japanese corporate clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing customized solutions.
- Manage end-to-end insurance processes for direct distribution channels, including policy issuance, renewals, and claims support.
- Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting, claims, risk management) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Identify new business opportunities within the Japanese corporate segment and execute strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Prepare and present proposals, reports, and market analysis to senior management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all transactions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in insurance, corporate sales, or client management, with exposure to Japanese corporate clients preferred.
- Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) is highly desirable; ability to communicate effectively with Japanese stakeholders is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
- Knowledge of general insurance products and local regulatory framework in Singapore.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
