Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for the Direct & Japanese Corporate business segment to drive growth and market expansion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, particularly those in the Japanese business community
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and product development areas
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of business strategies and initiatives
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports on business progress to senior management
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and business development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the insurance industry, with focus on corporate or commercial insurance
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or client relationship management
- Strong understanding of the Singapore insurance market and regulatory environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Experience working with Japanese businesses or cultural understanding is highly desirable
