Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive annual Advertising & Promotions (A&P) calendars to drive mall footfall and increase tenant sales.
  • Conceptualize and execute high-impact tactical promotions, seasonal events, and thematic campaigns in line with the Group's vision.
  • Manage and optimize the mall's A&P budget, ensuring all marketing expenditures deliver a strong return on investment.
  • Liaise with tenants to foster collaborative marketing opportunities and ensure consistent brand messaging across the mall.
  • Coordinate with external creative agencies, media houses, and event vendors to ensure high-quality execution of marketing collateral and events.
  • Oversee the mall's digital and social media presence, driving engagement through creative content and targeted advertising.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis to identify new growth opportunities within the retail sector.
  • Prepare detailed post-mortem reports for all major campaigns to evaluate effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for future projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, or Event Management, specifically within the shopping mall or retail industry.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is a distinct advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Highly creative with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail-oriented execution.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
